About me

SUSANNE ZAHN-WILLSDON
MA, UKCP, BCST, RCST

I have always been very interested in communicating with others, in the expressions of the body and the connection between the body, the mind, emotions and the spirit, so feel a strong connection both with Mindfulness Based/Core Process Psychotherapy  and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

Originally from a professional performing arts and movement background, I graduated from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in 2007. I worked at the CTET teaching clinic as a tutor, coordinator and finally the director.  A registered member of the CSTA (Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK) and the IABT (International Association of Biodynamic Trainings), I have a Biodynamic Craniosacral Practice and am a CSTA accredited Supervisor. I was a trustee for the CSTA for 4.5 years until the end of March 2024.

I am accredited as a psychotherapist by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy), and am a member of the ACPP (the Association for Core Process Therapists), having trained at the Karuna Institute. I have an MA in mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic practice from Middlesex University. I am certified as a Couples Therapist by the NCIP, the National Council of Integrative Therapists.

I adhere to the Code of Ethics of the CSTA, the ACPP and the UKCP and continue my professional development through postgraduate courses, personal study, contact with peer groups and personal supervision.
